About the designs
Do you sell merch from a specific anime?
No. Every design on this site is original artwork we drew, built on Japanese motifs — kanji, traditional patterns, torii gates, koi, kitsune masks, folklore, ramen and street culture. We do not sell characters, logos or artwork from any series, because that would be someone else's copyright and stores that do it get shut down.
Will you ever carry licensed series merchandise?
Not without a licence, and licences of that kind are not available to a store this size. What we can do is keep making the aesthetic itself better.
Are the kanji correct?
Yes. Every character used is set deliberately and its meaning is stated on the product page. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will fix it — that is a real offer, not a formality.
Orders and production
How long until my order ships?
Everything is made to order. Production takes 5 to 7 business days, then carrier transit on top — typically 3 to 5 days for standard US shipping. Plan on 8 to 12 business days door to door.
I need it for a convention next week. Will it arrive?
Probably not, and we would rather say so than take the order. If your date is inside ten days, write to us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
Can I cancel or change an order?
Yes, if production has not started — usually a window of a few hours. Write immediately and we will stop it if we can.
Products
How do the shirts fit?
Each product page carries the measurements for that specific garment. Anime tees are often worn oversized; if that is the look you want, size up one. Check the chart rather than assuming, because blanks differ between styles.
How should I care for printed apparel?
Machine wash cold inside out, tumble dry low, and do not iron directly on the print. That is the whole trick, and it is the difference between a print that lasts years and one that cracks in a season.
Are the mugs and bottles dishwasher safe?
Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe unless the product page says otherwise. Insulated tumblers and water bottles should be hand washed — a dishwasher will eventually break the vacuum seal on any brand of insulated bottle.
What are the posters and wall scrolls printed on?
Posters are museum-grade matte paper, shipped rolled in a rigid tube. Wall scrolls come ready to hang. Keep both out of direct sunlight, as all pigment prints should be.
Will the desk mat curl at the edges?
It ships rolled and will lie flat within a day or two. If it is stubborn, roll it backwards loosely overnight.
Returns and problems
Can I return something I simply changed my mind about?
Because every item is produced after you order it, we cannot restock returns, so we do not accept change-of-mind returns. Please check the size chart and finish options on the product page before ordering, and write to us if you are unsure — we would much rather answer a question first.
What if it arrives damaged, misprinted or wrong?
We replace it at no cost. Send a photo to sales@animeville.online within 30 days of delivery and we will remake and reship. You do not need to send anything back.
What if it does not fit?
We cannot take it back, which is exactly why the size chart is on every product page. If you are between sizes, write to us before ordering and we will tell you which way to go.
Shipping to Canada
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes. Shipping is calculated at checkout and prices can be shown in Canadian dollars using the currency selector. Orders under CAD 40 in goods value normally arrive with nothing to pay; above that, Canada may charge GST/HST and the courier a brokerage fee on delivery, which is the recipient's responsibility. One tee is usually under the threshold; a hoodie or two items usually are not.
